candescent
[Rare] glowing with intense heat; incandescent

A project started recently. I am keeping a hard-copy log of dictionary use: every time I look up a word, whether it is completely new, or I desire a more precise understanding of it, I write the date, time, definition, and source of the word.
I decided to create an online version of this as well, to share with other book- and word-lovers. My dictionary is a heavily-used book; I recommend cultivating an interest in yours.

This is bullshit.
It's fine for synonyms to exist, but not when all that happens is the addition of "in" to a word...
I concur! That is just lazyness on the part of whoever made up the word.
